I grew up in Istanbul and attended the Italian high school, which initiated my love and emotional connection to this country.
I started my professional life in 2005, after completing my fashion studies in Polimoda, Florence. I was an intern in Italy's number one department store La Rinascente and I enjoyed enormously my experience in the menswear department. In 2006 I was hired by Louis Vuitton to attend the manager training program. Firstly I worked in Milan Montenapoleone flagship store until I have been promoted as a store manager to open the Padova store, which was the 18th Louis Vuitton store in Italy.
Than came Lanvin...I moved to Paris and started the training department of Lanvin Paris. I have been designing and delivering brand and collection trainings for both men's and women's RTW and Accessories collections. In the meantime, I have completed my second masters in Organizational psychology and change management in Insead. My studies at Insead gave me new insights in order to become a change facilitator during personal and organizational change and transition periods.
I am a career coach and lecturer. I currently teach at ESLSCA Business school in Paris and IFA Paris fashion school in Istanbul. I am the founder of Turkey's first fashion career platform modakariyeri.com through which I provide sectoral mentoring to Turkey's talents and help companies express themselves through efficient and sincere employer branding.
