Creative Technologist

I hold the position of Creative Technologist within the Customer Experience department. A hybrid role that oversee’s design, ux and development.

I was directly responsible for the 2013 Christmas campaign; wireframing, overseeing ux and design.
Liaising with agencies and the inhouse development team to deliver the campaign internationally.
My role has also been integral to producing the ASOS ‘As Seen On Me’ project which see’s user generated content aligned with products on the site. I lead the UX and UI, carried out QA as well as worked with a third party platform to deliver this.

Senior Designer

As part of the eCommerce team my role here see’s me managing the new Ticketmaster branding for UK and international markets as well as producing creative sponsorship solutions for commercial clients.
I have overseen the creation and use of the new company photography, bespoke typeface and visual assets. Working with the development and UX teams I am gradually redesigning the whole of Ticketmaster’s online presence with new event widgets, attraction pages and search and filtering pages.

Visual Experience Designer

Within the ITV Experience team I worked closely with the UX Designers to define conceptual layouts and other design elements, providing input to project managers on user needs and the merits of site features.

As the Visual Designer I helped ensure consistent and engaging visual experiences which are in line with ITV’s Global Visual Language, particularly when liaising with the Commercial department to produce advertorial and sponsorship propositions for clients.

Art direction and microsite design, with dial up/down feature and parallax elements, for a commercial campaign between ASOS and Philips to promote their Sonicare range to a twenty-something audience.

ASOS Order Email

Redesign of the core ASOS order confirmation email. Designed for better legibility, clearer hierarchy of information and with different devices in mind. There are also added commercial placement areas further down the email.

The Coat Vote

ASOS’s first social voting competition.
131,854 votes were cast with 93,393 page visits.

Leather, overcoat or parka; we asked customers to vote for their favourite winter investment. Aggregating votes from tumblr, twitter and Instagram and creating a reach in excess of 10m.


#TwoUp

A Twitter 'heads or tails' game created for ASOS Australia where we implemented a Twitter bot, plus an admin interface, to respond to a high volume of tweets and deliver prizes.

The results exceeded all targets including increased following and an overall reach of 17million.

As Seen On Me

A hashtag aggregation tool built to source user generated content and make it shoppable.

Users hashtag their photos with #asseenonme to be added to the ASOS product pages. Customers can then see how items are being worn and styled by others.

GoTags

A free web application that allows users to grab URL's from Instagram posts simply by connecting with their Instagram account and email address.

The technology also makes Instagram posts shoppable with us having integrated it to 'add to bag' on the Magento platform, 'add to favourites' on Soundcloud and 'add to bag' on Etsy.
