I build things and enjoy creating a thing that wasn't there before: software, teams, new products, new ideas, or just small ways to make a task easier. I'm also a research nerd that dives headfirst into the data to see what's there. A day spent finding ways to solve the task at hand with a whiteboard, smart colleagues, and cup of coffee is a good one.
Currently, I am the Director of Customer Success at Birdeye, an online reputation software company. Birdeye is a relatively new company and I'm helping to build the Customer Success team from the ground up.
In addition to my professional career, I’m also a PhD candidate at George Mason University in the Cultural Studies department. My dissertation research is an analysis of how environmental software impacts public understanding and decision-making. Through this study, I get to explore intersections of critical code theory, public communications, and the way knowledge is produced via software.
