For me, all this passion into UI started from an introduction to Adobe Photoshop. I started with image and photo touch-ups, making photobooks and now creating wireframes and mockups on my current job. My first client are friends and family who needed design for their small businesses.
I love reading non-fictions and news,watchingcomedies, indie movies and documentaries, listening to good music andplaying games.

Logo for a local fashion business.
Ghassani Fashion is a local business that has been around for several years. Their website needing a revamp. This is to make it relevant to the current trend and also to have better content management. The client really believe in face-to-face discussion for this project. So I question a lot. I tried to find the most pressing needs and work on priorities. Budget also become the constraint. We decided to go with WordPress, for easy content management. I present five themes for the client to choose. And when the choice made, I push again for them to have photoshoot to provide adequate images, because the theme they choose will only do it's justice with big beautiful images. When the images was given to me, I make major editing with Photoshop, to make it blend with the ready made theme and at the same time also keeping the brand identity. The most difficult part for this project, to me personally, was choosing the best hosting provider and the migration process. I experimented with some hosting services and also using several dummy domain to have a feel which one the client would find easier to manage, when the project handed over.Open Link
A closed secured portal for universities or school. Student, staff and parents maintain their schedules, agendas, important notifications and campus's social networks. The application personalized based on the client university branding.
Telkomsel is the biggest telco provider in Indonesia. To keep up with expanding technology, they create a mobile app as a one-stop destination for their customer to manage their account. Their app, at that time, was a rather static with no scrolling, limited menu and many services and features heavily dependent to the sms network. I have a vision for a dynamic app with scrolling interface and fluid menu. Something that most people will find it familiar and easy to find the services they need. The team I work with each make a design concept. And I came up with this one. I consider Android UI, the most used OS in Indonesia. I pick the most familiar icon and layout. This concept never made it to production. They pick the least different design from their current app. Lesson I learned from this, as a designer it is our job to find out what's the level of changes the client willing to accept.
My friend needing a logo for her praying garment business. The label Pray Inc. producing Muslim high-quality praying garment targeting local women with higher income. She has a specific vision of what kind of logo she wanted, and this is making my job so much easier. We created a mood board online, and I create the vector in Illustrator and finish the logo in Photoshop. Two revision later and she happy with the result.
